The Project
RDS 360 supported TK Maxx on a comprehensive store planning and design coordination project across a multi-floor retail unit in Sunderland. The project began with a site visit to assess potential risks and proposed design elements ahead of feasibility planning.
Our team carried out a full measured survey of the existing building before developing feasibility plans for all floors in line with TK Maxx's latest design and operational specifications. This included the allocation of Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) areas, detailed planning of all BOH rooms, fitting room layouts, and associated customer facilities. Plans were reviewed and refined in close collaboration with the client before sign-off.
Following approval of the feasibility proposals, RDS 360 collaborated with the appointed principal contractor and wider consultant team to carry out a full coordination process, identifying and resolving potential clashes across all disciplines and producing a comprehensive set of construction drawings.
