RDS 360 partnered with ASDA to capture a precise 3D model of their Wembley store, giving the retailer a clear and accurate understanding of the existing site's layout, structure, and spatial data. The aim was to create a reliable digital record for use in future planning, refits, and structural adjustments while causing minimal disruption to ongoing store operations.
Our survey team deployed Leica laser scanning equipment on site, capturing detailed point cloud data across the full building. This data was imported into Autodesk Revit to produce an accurate 3D model, along with comprehensive 2D drawings providing a clear representation of existing conditions. ASDA also received access to the raw point cloud data for future use.
The final deliverables give the ASDA team a fully detailed, scalable digital model that can be updated and adapted as plans evolve, providing a valuable long-term asset for planning and store operations.
