Overview
To bridge the gap between outdated plans and strict design tolerances, RDS 360 deployed an advanced Scan-to-BIM workflow. This process replaced legacy surveying methods with high-definition, data-rich reality capture.
The on-site execution involved a non-intrusive 3D Laser Scan paired with a 360 Walkthrough survey. The scope was meticulous, capturing not just the primary retail demise, but also all the critical logistical parts of the building. This included service corridors leading to loading bays and complex external elevations, captured precisely even where temporary construction hoarding restricted access.
